You can tell it's one of the few places in Medfield that isn't sprayed for ticks or mosquitos, which, unfortunately, makes it difficult to enjoy walking here.

Good mix of wide/flat trails and technical scrambles. Some great bouldering or simple toprope climbs for kids as well. Hemlock Knoll loop is my favorite stretch of trail: like a mini Purgatory Chasm, with a cave, and vertical rock walls. Beware the footbridge over Echo Pond may be a few inches underwater, depending on beaver activity.
A great place for a family outing. Lots of hiking trails, but the jewel in the crown is the educational cabin where they have things for kids to look at and very helpful staff to answer any questions. You can also rent canoes (I think it was around $15 for an hour) and fishing rods. A lovely place to relax.
Tranquil spot. Nice for a quiet day of fishing. Bring bug spray!
